Swedish Princess Cake / Prinsesstårta is a classic and beautiful cake that originated in Sweden and proves the be their most popular cake in confectionaries and coffeeshops.
It is made of sponge cake layered with vanilla custard cream filling, fresh raspberries and then layers of whipped cream under a light green or pink marzipan topping.
