Description
These moist muffin centres consist of oats, cranberries, raisins, further topped with a layer of brown sugar streusel. The german word ’streusel’ means ’sprinkled’, or also translated to the more common term ‘crumble’ derived from its sugar, floury and buttery consistency. Streusel makes a nice alternative to the common crumbling effect or muffintops as it caramelises when baked.
