Description
Inspired by the modern classic Red Velvet Cake, here come my Valentine’s cupcakes – two variants of it. One is a swedish recipe that replaces butter with oil and the second batter is the traditional american cupcake recipe.
Both with a deep red colour that is very striking and dramatic looking and then topped with two very different frostings.
I frosted the first cupcake with an ultra rich dark chocolate ganache and the second one with a vanilla creamcheese frosting.
Both sinful in colour and in taste … Happy Valentine’s Day 2012
