Description

Another version of the Swedish Princess Cake / Prinsesstårta…. a classic and beautiful cake that originated in Sweden and proves the be their most popular cake in confectionaries and coffeeshops.

Sponge cake layered with vanilla custard cream filling, fresh strawberries, strawberry jam and then layers of whipped cream under a sweet pink marzipan topping. The marzipan is rolled and stretched over the entire cake, then coated with powdered sugar on the top and decorated with strawberries and chocolate caramel hearts.

A winner for those with a love for light sponge cakes with cream; the taste and lightness of this cake are great……
