Almond paste and meringue based macaroons filled with a variety of icings and colourful fillings.
These Macaroons go down a treat and are reminiscent of the older english teahouses. Serve with royal tea and an elitist attitude.






































































Ah I saw these in Siem Reap in Cambodia actually! Exactly like the multi coloured ones we saw in London too. They do a lot of european pastries and cakes in Cambodia due to the French colonial influnce, just about the only aspect that has survived. Their chocolate creme tarts were pretty impressive and I had a passion fruit tart which was really light and fragrant too…
