Description
The latin word Cupid means desire and we know him as the god of erotic love and beauty through Roman mythology. Nowadays, Cupid is a symbol for Valentine’s Day and budding love. He is portrayed as shooting his bow to inspire romantic love and as a direct personification of love and courtship.
These Cupid’ s Hearts are a perfect addition to the Valentine’s Week dinners… they are a 3 layer concoction of rich chocolate sponge hearts alternating with layers of cream and chopped fresh cherries. The hearts are then glazed in a dark chocolate creamy glaze and dusting of icing sugar; served with cherries and whipped cream.
