
About Me
I am half maltese and half austrian and have lived on the island of Malta all my life.
My early childhood memories revolve around the kitchen and food preparation as my father was a chef specialising in Austrian cuisine. Bi-annual trips to Austria meant I would observe my aunt bake on a daily basis … bischofsbrot, marmorkuchen, apfel strudel, sachertorte, ribiseltorte and more.
In the past years, I have discovered and developed a love for adapting, preparing and baking new desserts. I find inspiration in fresh fruits of the season, different variants of chocolate and nuts, delicacies I try when abroad as well as tempting recipes that come my way.
That combined with an interest in Austrian, American and now Swedish and Scandinavian specialities, make for a myriad of desserts that I look forward to making….
